Playing them reduces speed of my progression to higher tier ships, as spending time messing about having fun.
I need to earn lots, playing tiers 4, 5, and 6 lots will do this. I can division with mates more effectively, especially new players. Having a selection of ships of different tiers has several benefits. I do not consider getting tier x a priority, though will always be grinding upwards in at least 2 lines. I am collecting a fleet of ships that will suit my moods and offer different play styles.
